Abingdon- Grover Haas, 84, of Abingdon, died Sunday at 6pm at a Galesburg hospital. He was born Nov. 15, 1884, at Monmouth, and was a farmer most of his life. He was also employed for a time at the Abingdon pottery. He was a member of the Christian Church at St. Augustine. He resided all his life in Warren and Knox county communities. Surviving are two sons, Delwyn Dawdy of Greenbush and Eugene Haas of Abingdon, 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Graveside rites will be Wednesday at 1:30 pm at the Abingdon cemetery.
