Elizabeth was the daughter of Georg Bedo and Karoline Bitz Bedo. Elizabeth met her future husband Samuel Spry in Austria/Hungary. Elizabeth and Samuel were married circa 1913 probably in Budapest. The couple moved to Salt Lake City, Utah and later Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Their only child was the artist Charles Eugene Spry.
