Funeral services have been scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday at Mothe Funeral Home, Harvey, for Maxillien "Max" Cheramie, 70, a native of Galliano and resident of Harvey for 30 years, who died at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday.
Religious services have been scheduled immediately following at Infant Jesus of Prague Catholic Church, with interment in Westlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until midnight today.
He was the husband of Dorine Chabert; father of Neal Cheramie; son of the late Rosema Pitre and Manuel Cheramie; brother of Helen Moise, Harrison and Antoine Cheramie and the late Minta, Rose, Amedee, Gracien, Vories and William Cheramie; grandfather of Kim and Neal "Bucky" Cheramie Jr.
