Mary Ellen Alexander, beloved wife of the late George Alexander, dearest mother of Mrs. Addye Crumpler, Mrs. Amye Beck, Mrs. Bobette Shepherd, Mrs. Jane Taylor, Roy, Edward, Woodrow and the late George Alexander, died at the home of her son, near Bourbon, Mo., Sunday May 6. She had attained the age of 81 years, 7 months, and 16 days.
Mrs. Alexander was in state at the Hoener funeral home , Bourbon, until 12 noon Wednesday, May 9, with funeral services at the Assembly of God church 2 p.m. same day, Rev. O. E. Garner officiating. Interment was in Cross Roads cemetery.
