OBITUARY from The Intelligencer, Wheeling, WV 11 Aug 1977 - JOHNSON, Ernest Av., 70, of Proctor, W. Va. died Tuesday In Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale. He was a Protestant and a retired employe of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Co. Surviving are his wife, Carrie Morris Johnson, four daughters, Mrs. Albert (Josephine) Wolfe, Mrs. Sidney (Jane) Pozell, both of Proctor, Mrs. Nile (Gaynell) Anderson of Moundsville, and Mrs. David (Barbara) Shank of New Martinsville, three sons, Clarence R, Ernie R, and Ronnie R, all of Proctor; two brothers, Charles F of Proctor, and Alva of New Martinsville, 13 grandchildren, five great grandchildren. Friends received at the Wells Funeral Home, New Martinsville, after 1 p.m. Thursday,, where services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. Interment in Shriver Cemetery, New Martinsville.
