Evelyn immigrated to Canada with her family when she was just 2 years old, to Bender Saskatchewan. When her mother died in 1933, they moved to North Vancouver BC. She married Lynton Suggett who predeceased her and later she married Harold Berry and they lived in White Rock, close to her 2 sisters. She lived alone after Harold died till the age of 96
