Vera Estella Ames, 99, died July 14, 2006 in Poulsbo, Washington after attending an Ames family reunion celebrating her upcoming 100th birthday. Vera was born in Winnebago, Minnesota on September 6, 1906. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray on December 26, 1973 and 2 great grandchildren, Christopher and Geoffrey. She is survived by 2 sons, Douglas of Kingston, WA and Sidney of Apache Junction, AZ; 6 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Vera has been a year round resident of Apache Villa for the past 30 years. She has served her church faithfully by her work as a pianist and organist as well as singing in the choirs. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 22, 2006 at Mountain View Mortuary Chapel, 7900 E.
