John J. Pettenon of Schaumburg
The family and friends of John J. Pettenon, 84, will be received from 9 a.m. until the time of the Mass at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 1001 E. Schaumburg Road, Schaumburg. Interment will be private. Mr. Pettenon was a member of the American Legion of Roselle. He was the beloved husband of Carmela (nee Ciancarelli); loving father of Joanne L. Peele, John J. (Josephine) Pettenon Jr., Marilyn Schoening, Robert M., Richard J. (Donna) and the late Mary Ellen Pettenon; proud grandfather of 10; great-grandfather of nine; and dear brother of the late Leanore Chavez.
