SHOCK OF SON'S DEATH FATAL TO MRS. KOHLMEYER
A double funeral service will be held tomorrow for Sylvester C. Kohlmeyer, 42 years old, who died of a stroke Friday night in his home, 2052 Central Avenue, and for his mother, Mrs. Adelaide M. Kohlmeyer, 68, who died of shock an hour later. She had been ill for several years.

Mr. Kohlmeyer was to have been married Oct. 29 to Miss Polly Achre of Corsicana, Tex., who was on her way here when he died.

The funeral service will be conducted at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning in Broadway Methodist Church by the Rev. N. S. Jeffrey, pastor, assisted by Dr. W. T. Jones. Another service will be held at 2:30 o'clock in the afternoon in St. Peter's Lutheran Church, near Osgood, followed by burial in St. Peter's Cemetery.

Mrs. Kohlmeyer, a native of Osgood, had lived here 26 years, was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and White Cross Guild and had been active in Red Cross and Goodwill Industries. She had taught Sunday school classes many years at Broadway Methodist Church.

Her son recently returned here after having been a partner in the firm of Edwards & Kohlmeyer, funeral directors, in Shelbyville 12 years. He was coroner of Shelby County about five years ago. He was a native of Pierceville [Ripley Co.], attended Shortridge High School, and was a graduate of the Indiana College of Embalming. He was a member of the Benevolent Protective Order of Elks and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Survivors of Mrs. Kohlmeyer are the husband, Frederick F. Kohlmeyer; two other sons, Harold H. Kohlmeyer and Frederick W. Kohlmeyer; a daughter, Mrs. Robert W. [Virginia] Tonning Jr., all of Indianapolis; and three grandchildren.
