Florence was a dau. of Francis/Frank Marion Johnson, who died 27 Aug. 1915, Pawnee Co., Nebr. & Mary Jane Sisco, who died 02 Mar. 1938, same place. Her obit. shows she was buried in the family plot, Burchard Cemetery, Burchard, Pawnee Co., Nebr, Block 2, lot 1. Francis and Mary Jane are not shown in "Cemeteries of Pawnee County, Nebraska", by Ruth Anna Hicks, publ. by The Nebraska State Gen. Soc., Lincoln, Nebr. (n.d.), so I have no findagrave memorial numbers for them.

MRS. E. A . RICHARDSON

Florence Velora Johnson was born in Ames, Iowa March 25. 1880, and came to Nebraska at the age of three. She was united in marriage to Emmett Richardson Aug. 28, 1901, and to this union were born six children, Velora Mina, Francis, Wilard, and Mrs. Harley Doman of Brush, Colo., Cleo and David. Velora and David preceded her in death. She lived in Pawnee county since she first came to Nebraska.

She died at the Pawnee hospital Nov. 3, 1943. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, her children, one grandchild, three brothers, Ernest Johnson of Lincoln, Arthur of Omaha, and Charles of Beatrice; and four sisters, Carrie Knowles of Beatrice, Myrtle Lawler of Lincoln, Anna Ackerman of Pawnee City, and Gaye Henderson of Lincoln, besides other relatives and friends.

She was a devoted wife and mother, and kind to everyone. Those who knew her loved and cherished her. She was a strong believer in God and accepted Christ as her Savior at the Methodist church in Bookwalter several years ago. No words can tell how much she will be missed.

Funeral services were held Nov. 5 at the Methodist church in Pawnee City, Rev. C. F. Watters of Burchard officiating, and burial was in the Summerfield cemetery.
