Alice married William Cook (May 1837 - 11 Sept 1901) on 10 Feb 1869 in Washington, DC.

In the 1870, 1880, and 1900 U.S. Censuses, William and Alice were living in Washington, DC, and he was a "musician" (1870, 1880) and a "lather" (1900).

William's divorced brother, Andrew J. Cook (born c.1845), was living with them in 1880, and Andrew was also a "musician."

Obituary for William - "On Wednesday, September 11, 1901 at 12:40 p.m., William Cook, beloved husband of Alice Cook, aged 64 years. Notice of funeral hereafter."

In the 1910 U.S. Census, the widowed Alice was living in Washington, DC, with her children, George and Florence, and her granddaughters, Alice and Hazel. Her widowed brother-in-law, Andrew J. Cook, was also living with them in 1910.
