Allen Moser,of Punxsutawney R.D. 5, died Thursday,
August 5, 1993 at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.
Mr. Moser was born December 7, 1920 in Punxsutawney,
the son of Oran & Etha Yeager Moser.
He married the former Isobel Barnett in 1946.
He is retired from the S.W. Jack Drilling Co. and Speer Carbon of Punxsutawney and is a former school bus driver for Punxsutawney Bus Co.
He delivered meals for the Area Agency on Aging. He was a member of the Groundhog Campers Association, American Association of Retired Persons and the Modernaires.
He served with the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II and attended the Presbyterian Church of Punxsutawney.
He is survived by his wife,a daughter,
Mrs. Michael(Deborah) Sulkowski of New Brighton;
two grandsons;
and a sister, Mrs. Violet Magee of Franklin.
He was preceded in death by a son, John Allen Moser;
his parents;
two sisters: Elsie Raybuck and Nell Neale;
and two brothers, Frank Moser and John Moser.
Funeral services will be held at the Pifer Funeral Home of Punxsutawney. The Rev. Ed Myers will officiate.
Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Punxsutawney.
