Obituary
Lurry-God in his unerring providence has visited the home of Bro. T. W. Lurry, of Cordova, Tenn., and his beloved wife is no more. She has been a member of the Baptist church from childhood, and was a devoted wife and affectionate mother. She will be missed so sadly in her home where she reared ten noble sons and daughters, in her church where she loved to go, and in her neighborhood where she was loved for her sterling qualities of mind and heart; but to her bereaved husband and sorrowing children I would say not look into the grave at the mortal remains as all of our dear ones, but look beyond where the immortal spirit of wife and mother is at rest free from pain, and let her presence there be a tie to bind you closer to Him, until God shall see fit to make it one united family in heaven. J.C. Swaim.
