Mrs. Mollie Wolfe Ward, 93, of Surgoinsville, died Saturday at the Smith Nursing Home at Johnson City. Mrs. Ward was a member of Fudges Chapel Methodist Church.
Survivors include four step-daughters, Miss Bertha Ward, Mrs. Bessie Barton, and Mrs. Maude Barton, all of Surgoinsville, Mrs. Nellie Sutton, Church Hill; three step-sons, Henry, James, and Simon Ward, all of Surgoinsville; 45 step-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Services were at 2pm Tuesday in Fudges Chapel Methodist Church with the Rev. T.H. Franklin and the Rev. Frank Lewis officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
