Albert P. Adams Dies at 84
Funeral services for Albert P. Adams, 84, a retired band leader and music teacher, will be held at 10:30 o'clock tomorrow [19 May 1960] in the Forkner chapel. Cremation will follow.

Mr. Adams died yesterday [17 May 1960]. He retired last year as a music teacher. From 1914 until 1930 he was band instructor at the University of Washington.

Mr. Adams was born in Deep Valley, Pa. He was bandmaster and instructor at Delafield, Wis. before he came here. He conducted Adams Band, which played in Seattle parks for many years.

Mr. Adams was a life member of Local 76. Musicians Association, and a former member of Seattle Lodge No. 92, Elks. He resided at 2221 Federal Av.

Surviving are his wife Mabel; two sons, Marion Adams, Seattle, and Spencer Adams, Port Angeles; two daughters, Mrs. J. A. Rowland, Seattle, and Mrs. A. Stewart White, Chehalis; nine grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
