Roger Dale Cline was born on December 19, 1952 and passed away on October 27, 2011. He was born and raised in Wasco. He was a Wasco tiger football player. After high school he began working as a residential handy man. Rogers's favorite hobby was auto racing. He was known as the driver of the Hoppity Honda #03 at the Bakersfield Speedway. Roger was an active member in the International Order of the Foresters. Through the Foresters, Roger actively raised thousands of dollars for many children's charities. Roger loved to cook and he donated a lot of his time cooking for the Ronald McDonald House in Madera and for the Gleaners in his spare time.

Roger leaves behind his wife, Leveta; his son, Kevin; two stepsons and seven grandchildren; his sisters, Doris and Carol; as well as many friends. Roger will be missed by many because of his kind heart for disabled and unfortunate children and love for his family.

A small Memorial service is planned at Wasco Memorial Cemetery at 1:00 on Friday, November 4, 2011. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers to please donate to your favorite charity for children in Roger's name. www.bakersfield.com/obits
