Arthur spent his last moments surrounded by family and friends.
Arthur is survived by his wife, Lillie G. Apodaca, son, Estevan Apodaca, daughter, Charlotte Romero and her husband, Danny, grandchildren, Lucas Romero and Celina Romero, sisters, Lucy Chávez of San Francisco and Barbara Wilkins of Seattle, WA, brothers, Joe N. Apodaca and Ray Apodaca, both of Albuquerque and Luis Barela of California and Pat Apodaca of Arkansas, mother-in-law, Bernice García of Socorro and numerous in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews and a special friend, Jeff Medina.
Arthur was preceded in deathg by his parents, Salomon and Juanita Apodaca and his brother, Primitivo Apodaca.
Arthur was a resident of Socorro until November of 1997 when he and his wife moved to Albuquerque to be close to his family. Arthur lived life to the fullest and is at peace with our dear Lord, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 9502 4th St. NW. Interment will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ambose Chávez, Richard Tafoya, Michael Zamora, Marcelino García, Robert Sánchez and Fernando López.
