Asahel Thomas Gee, 88, of Burley, Ida., formerly of Provo, died Friday in Burley of causes incident to age.

He was born June 3, 1887, in Provo, the son of George Washington and Ursual [sic] Bandley Gee. He obtained his education in Provo schools. He married Mary Eliza Jones on Jun 7, 1902, in the Salt Lake Temple.

She died Oct. 16, 1930. He then married Margaret Parker on March 20, 1935. He was a member of the LDS church, serving on two missions and being bishop of the Unity LDS Ward.

Survivors include his wife of Burley; two daughters, Mrs. Elmer (Ferris) Barlow of Marsing, Idaho; Mrs. Frank (Zenna) Dorsey of Caldwell, Ida.; three stepdaughters, Margaret Richins of Eugene, Ore.; Arvilla Stone of Weiser, Ida.; Donna Call of Idaho Falls, Ida.; one stepson, Clarence P. Parker of Twin Falls, Ida; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Gee Love of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Pearl Gee Carter of Provo; a half-sister, Mrs. Hyrum (Martha) Smith of Salt Lake City; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m., in the Burley Second LDS Ward Chapel. Graveside services will be held at the Provo City Cemetery Tuesday at 4 p.m.

Caldwell - Services for Asahel Thomas Gee, 88 of 2350 Malta, Burley, who died Thursday in a Caldwell hospital, will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Second Ward LDS Church in Burley. Officiating will be Bishop Preston Stocks. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Provo, Utah under the direction of the Peckham-Dakan-Davis Chapel in Caldwell.

He was born June 3, 1878, at Provo, Utah. He grew up there, and was married to Mary Eliza Jones in 1906. In 1916, they moved to Burley where he farmed; and in 1942, he retired and moved into Burley. Mrs. Gee died Oct 16, 1930. He later married Margaret Parker March 20, 1935. He had lived the winter months in Mesa, Ariz., for the past 13 years. He had filled two missions for the LDS Church, and was active in church work all his life. He was a former Bishop of the Unity Ward in Burley, and a member of the LDS Church.

Surviving are his wife, Margaret Gee of Burley; two daughters, Mrs. Ferris G.
