Cecelia Grams, of Antigo, died Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011, at Langlade Hospital in Antigo. She was 78 years old. She was born on Sept. 9, 1933, in Watersmeet, Mich., a daughter of Russell and Sarah "Sadie" (Clark) Skidmore. She married Eugene Grams on June 14, 1952, at Peace Lutheran Church in Antigo. He preceded her in death on July 10, 2004. She was a graduate of Elcho High School in 1951.

Mrs.. Grams was employed as a cook for the Unified School District of Antigo. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Antigo, and the Fifty Plus Club in Pearson. She enjoyed flower gardening, traveling and spending time with family and friends especially at Pelican Lake.

Survivors include a daughter, Cheryl (Joe) Hayes, Fond du Lac; two sons, Terry Grams, Rhinelander, James (Colette) Grams, Rhinelander; seven grandchildren, Sean and Kevin Hayes, Katie (Jason) Kremer, Kristin (Jeff) Wheeler, Kari (Cory) Kreitlow, Kelsey Grams, Danielle (Rick) Kuss; three great-grandchildren, Jaxson and Brooklynn Kremer and Landon Kuss; two brothers, Garth (Mavis) Skidmore, Deerbrook, Keith (Nancy) Skidmore, Pearson.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by two sisters, June Schoenfelt, and Verean Stai; two brothers, Harlan Skidmore and Forrest Skidmore who died in action in the Korean War.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church (Eight Ave and Deleglise St., Antigo) with Rev. Scott Kruse officiating. Burial will take place in Elmwood Cemetery.
