Margaret was born on Aug 22, 1878 in Montgomery County, Kentucky. Her parents were Joseph S. Taul (1855-1928) and Mary Jameson (1856-1879). After her mother died in 1879, Margaret and her brother were lsited living with her maternal grandparents, B. F. and Margaret Jameson in 1880 in Carmargo, Montgomery County, Kentucky. Their father was listed as a widower in the household of his brother John Taul in Aaron's Run, Montgomery County, Kentucky. I don't believe that Margaret and her brother Edwin ever returned to living with their father. Joseph Taul was listed in 1900 in Missouri with his second wife and three daughters, the oldest being 13 born in Missouri. He had remarried in 1885, and had moved immediately, or was already in Missouri by that time.
About 1896, Margaret married John Davis Adams (1863-1942), also born in Kentucky. He was a son of George Q. Adams (1836-(1900) and Mary W. McIntire (1840-ca 1920).
John and Margaret lived in Harrison County for a time after they married and then moved to Winchester, Clark County, Kentucky where they settled. They had three children: Leroy Jameson Adams (1897-1964), Mary Elizabeth Adams-Stevens (1900-1983), and Alice Lee Adams-Davis (1907-1978).
Both Margaret and her husband are buried in Winchester Cemetery.
