WILSON G. FROST
Wilson G. Frost, 65, of Pownal, who died Thursday morning, was born in East Rupert and had received his schooling there. He was the son of the late John G. and Nettie Hurd Frost.
In his early years he had lived in Granville, N.Y. and from there went to Sunderland, where he was engaged n farming. Later he was located in farming in Manchester. For some years he was employed by the H.T. Cushman Mfg. Co., North Bennington, and the Frosts lived in that village for four years.
At the time of his retirement last October, he was with the maintenance department of Hoosac School. He married the former Eliza Stewart in Pownal on June 30, 1928 and they have been Pownal residents for some time, living on U.S. 7.
Hunting and fishing were his chief hobbies. He was a member of Tucker Lodge F and AM, North Bennington.
Survivors are his wife; a son, William of Pownal; two brothers, Irving of East Arlington and Frank of Hoosick; one sister, Mrs. Gordon (Harriet) Harwood of Arlington.
The funeral will be held Sunday at 2 pm from Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Home with Rev. H. Glenn Payne, First Baptist Church pastor, officiating. Entombment will be in Park Lawn Cemetery.
