GRAND SALINE - Services for Betty Harris, 71, Grand Saline, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline, with Brother Mack Swain officiating.

Burial will be in Woodside Cemetery.

Mrs. Harris died Nov. 25, 2007, in a Tyler hospital.

She was born May 9, 1936, in Van Zandt County to Snode and Hazel Gilbert Alexander. She lived most of her life in Van Zandt County, was a Pentecostal and a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by brother, Russell Alexander.

Survivors include her husband, Darwin "D.C." Harris, Grand Saline; son, Joe Bain Davis, Murchison; brothers, Carroll Alexander and Gerald Alexander, both of Grand Saline, Doyle Alexander, Lake Tawakoni, and Billy Alexander, Edgewood; sister, Louise Savage, Fruitvale; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Billy Alexander, Gary Savage, Larry Harris, Charlie Harris, Donald Woods, Cameron Harris and Martin Gonzales.

Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
