O.J. "B" Kniffen passed away Thursday, May 12, 2005 in Big Spring, Texas.
He was born April 30, 1916 to Oscar J. Kniffen and Roberta Richards Kniffen in Clyde, Texas and was raised and educated there. On September 4, 1937, he married Katherine Marie Neithercult. He proudly served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army. In 1976, he began the development of Kniffen Estates in East Midland. He loved spending time gardening.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
"B" is survived by his sister, Madge Paulk of Hobbs, New Mexico and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services have been scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Saturday, May 14, 2005 at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home.
Honorary pallbearers are Kevin Searcy, Danny Kellum, Joe Herman, Orville Dale Paulk, Jr., Ronnie Paulk and Sanford Searcy, Jr.
