Services Held For Robert Patterson

Funeral sevices for Robert Glenn Patterson of Hominy were conducted Saturday morning last week in the First Christian Church in Cleveland. Rev. Tom Moll officiated.
Mr. Patterson was born Aug. 14, 1908, in Ripley, Ill., to Robert s. and Elsa Mae Surratt Patterson. He died Jan. 30 in the Hominy City Hospital at the age of 71 years five months and 16 days. He married Eudora Hull in 1939 in Peoria, Ill. He lived in Kewanee and Peoria, Ill. Before moving to Hominy in July 1977. Mr. Patterson worked as a tool designer for the Caterpillar Company in Peoria, retiring in 1970. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Cleveland, Okla. Survivors are his wife Eudora and one daughter, Mary, both of the home in Hominy; and two sisters, Della Hill of McClure, Ill. And Mildred Patterson of Kewanee, Ill. Organist at the services was Mae Stallard, Soloist, Rick McNeely, sang "Whispering Hope" and "Beyond the Sunset." Pallbearers were Neil Williams, John Walkup, Joe Bejeck, Carol Spess, Royce Ballinger and J.B. Tabor.
Interment was in the Albert J. Powell Memorial Cemetery directed by Powell;s Funeral Home.
