He is survived by his wife Joan Gardner Sohm and children Penny Matjeka Tannehill (David) of Orem, UT, Susan Matjeka Barra of Provo, UT, Sam Matjeka of Las Vegas, NV, 13 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Glen was the last surviving child in his family. He had 5 brothers, Lamont Sohm, George Kenneth Tweedy, Graydon Elmer (Buck) Tweedy, Robert LeRoy Sohm, and Wayne Earl Sohm, and 3 sisters, Geraldine Tweedy, Anna Mae Tweedy Abnot, and Mary Ethel Sohm Lewis.

Glen married the love of his life, Joan, June 11, 1994 in the LDS Mesa Arizona Temple. They lived in Yuma, Arizona until moving to Provo, Utah in Sept. 2011. Glen was a good and loving son. He cared for his mother for many years until her death in 1990. She lived to be 100 years old.

Glen was a farmer and a beekeeper. He lived and worked for many years in Blackfoot and then he moved to a ranch in the mountains on the Washington, Oregon border. Later he moved to Yuma and bought a grapefruit grove he called "The Citrus Patch".

Glen was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served a 2-year mission in the "Central States Mission". He was always active and served in many positions and gave much service in any way that he could. He wore out two sets of hip replacements and was on his third. He had the replacements done so he could keep going. He always encouraged people to get hips repaired and not put up with pain. He claimed it was no more than a mosquito bite. Glen was loved by many and belonged to a very special family that he loved. This family included wife, children, nieces and nephews. Glen, we love and miss you.
