Mrs. G.E. Jenkins Dies at Age of 75
Mrs. Emma Burns Jenkins, wife of Barrett Elliott Jenkins, Tacoma contractor, to whom she had been married 57 years, died Wednesday at the family home, 821 Harrison Street.
Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, Clyde L. and Noble J. of Tacoma; three daughters, Mrs. Happy Embree of Tacoma, Mrs. Edith Hones of Fresno, California, and Mrs. Berta Brown of Portland, Oregon; a sister, Mrs. Adelaide B. Gray of Pekin, Indiana, and five grandchildren.
Mrs. Jenkins, a native of Pekin, Indiana, had lived in Tacoma 39 years. She was a member of Tacoma lodge, Degree of Honor, Women's Benefit Association of the Macabees, and of McKinley Park Christian Church. Buckley-King will announce the funeral
