She was born Sunday, September 25. 1921 to Daniel and Margie West. Mrs. Hollingsworth is preceded in death by her husband, Burnis Hollingsworth and son, J. S. Strickland. She is survived by son, Rufus Strickland of Sumrall; daughters, Naomi Smith (Robert) and Mary Scruggs, both of Sumrall; sister, Lois Jones of Hattiesburg; 10 Grandchildren and several Great and Great Great Grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Hollingsworth will be held from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday, June 1, 2015 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, June 1, 2015 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Roney officiating. Interment will be in Shirley Cemetery.
