Aleene E. Sailors, 83, of Falls City, NE, passed away October 30, 2011 at Falls City. She was born February 6, 1924 in Arkansas to the late Roy and Susie (Schug) Elms.

On June 6, 1943 she married Stanley Sailors at Falls City. He passed away November 23, 2010.

Aleene moved to Falls City at the age of twelve and graduated Falls City High School. When married the couple established their home in Falls City. She owned Aleene's Drapery and did custom drapery work. She also worked at Chaney Furniture. She retired in 1992. She was a member of Immanuel Methodist Church at Falls City.

Aleene is survived by her sons, John and his wife Susi of Falls City, Chuck and his wife Denise of Nebraska City, NE, brother, Roy Elms and his wife Epie of Falls City, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a sister, Mignyon Jett.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at 10:30 AM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Reverend Paul Weinert officiating. Inurnment will be in Steele Cemetery.
