Mr. Shoup was employed at Minowitz Manufacturing Co. since 1986. He enjoyed working on cars and had a passion for reading.
He is survived by his children, Paula, Carla and James Joseph; son-in-law, William Coffee; former wife and best friend, Yamina Davidson; parents, James Eugene and Frances Pauline Shoup; sister, Linda Pounds; nieces, Sarah and Katie; and nephews, Austin and Andrew.
He was predeceased by his sister, Terri Carter.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Chapman-Black Funeral Home, 108 W. Delaware, Cleveland, Okla.
