Man Injured on June 18 Passes Away in Hospital
A broken back suffered June 18 when he fell from a tree at 3115 Jennings street, Wednesday caused the death of John Renn, 72, 2701 Sheridan street, in a Sioux City hospital.
Until Tuesday night Mr. Renn showed signs of rapid recovery, despite his advanced age, but Wednesday he suffered a relapse and died soon afterward.
Mr. Renn was born in Baltimore March 5, 1862, and lived there until he was 2_ years old, when he came to Sioux City. He had lived in this vicinity since. For many years he conducted a farm, but he recently retired.
Surviving him are: His widow, Lillian Renn; three sons, W. C. Renn of Aberdeen, J. R. Renn of Crofton and L.A. Renn of Sioux City, and a brother, George Renn, living in Maryland.
