LYDIA STEINKE
The funeral for Lydia Steinke, 85, Hope, N.D., will be there at 2 Wednesday in Trinity Lutheran Church. She died Sunday.
Lydia Brendemuehl was born May 22, 1899 at LaMont [sic Lemont], Ill. She grew up and attended school at Hope. She married Edward Steinke March 18, 1924, at Hope, and they farmed in the Hope and Colgate, N.D. areas. He died in 1978. She had been a resident of the Lutheran Memorial Home, Mayville, N.D., since 1980.
She is survived by a son, Wayne, Hope; seven grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
