Mabel LaRue Lindsay Franklin, 83, of Westminster, died Tuesday, April 5, 1994, at the Long View Nursing Home in Manchester after an extended illness.
Born August 28, 1910, in Carroll County, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Rosa Harris Strine. Twice married, her first husband was the late Carroll L. Lindsay, who died in 1954. Her second husband was the late Paul E. Franklin, who died in 1972.
She was formerly employed at the New Windsor Brethren Service Center for 25 years, retiring in 1985.
Surviving are daughter LaRue Lindsay Franklin of Union Bridge and Helen L. Coulby of Cobb Island, Md.; son, C. Richard Lindsay, with whom she resided; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
