Carmen J. Lombardo, 63, of West Hazleton, died Wednesday at Veterans Administration Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre.
Born in Hazleton, he was the son of the late Gabriel and Josephine (Veet) Lombardo.
He was a proprietor of numerous businesses in Hazleton and was a veteran of the Marine Corps during the Cuban Crisis.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, was a sister, Anna Marie.
Surviving are his companion, Alice Hames; children, Carmen, Charlene, Gabriela, Dino, Kara, Corina, Vito and Anna Marie; a stepdaughter, Marnie; numerous grandchildren; a brother, Donald Lombardo, and his wife, Elaine, Drums; and nine nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in Most Precious Blood Roman Catholic Church, Hazleton.
Interment will be in Most Precious Blood Cemetery.
There will be no viewing.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Veterans Medical Center, 1111 East End Blvd., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18711.
