CARRIERE, MISSISSIPPI: Henry Menner, Jr., 83, died July 25, 2010 at his residence. He was born December 10, 1926 in New Orleans, LA with parents Henry Menner Sr. of Louisiana and Rose Dichiara from Italy. His first marriage was to the late Lois Anna Jones in 1953 in New Orleans with daughter Carol Menner DiMaggio . He worked as a foreman at Kaiser Aluminum, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He relocated to Carriere from Slidell, LA 23 years ago. Survivors include another daughter, Linda Lazarus of Picayune; a son, Henry (Amanda) Menner III of Eight Mile, AL; two sisters, Rosemary Mamanelli of Chalmette, LA, and Nora Julian of Texas; 3 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his second wife, Patricia Ann Menner; and a brother, Fredrick Menner. Services were held at the First Baptist Church of Carriere. Burial was at the Carriere Cemetery under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
