Bertha "Bertie" Ann LEE Singleton was the daughter of James Napoleon Lee and Mary "Mollie" PATE Lee. Bertha married Jacob A. "Jake" Singleton.

The 1910 Census Lists Jacob, age 26 and Bertha, age 19, with Luella, 0; in Grand Pass.
(In 1911, Bertha's mother "Mollie" died.)
Children who died in infancy are: Beckie, 1916; Mollie, 1918; and Baby boy 1920.

The 1920 Census shows daughters Luella, 9; and Nanny, 7; living with their parents.

Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Cooper and daughter, Miss Ethel, and son and Miss Bertha Lee and sister spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. John Singleton and children.
