Funeral services for William Blaney "Dick" McNeese, Jr., 70, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 5, 2008 at the Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Horace Jackson will officiate.
Mr. McNeese died Wednesday, July 2, 2008. Born in Darlington Co., SC, he was a son of the late William Blaney McNeese, Sr. and the late Cleo Rollins McNeese. He was a member of Swift Creek Baptist Church. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and brother.
Surviving are his wife, Frances Odom McNeese of Hartsville, SC; sons and daughters-in-law, Doug and Terry McNeese of Hartsville, SC, Wilber and Debbie DeLorme of Chesapeake, VA; daughter, Sonya Smith of Schreiner, LA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Carolyn McNeese of Brunswick, GA, Mary Linda Horne of Hartsville, SC, Nancy and Terrell Bishop of Jacksonville, FL, Susan and Dennis Hodge of Darlington, SC; 12 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tamsie McAnich; brother, Wiley McNeese.
