Funeral services of Mrs. Evalina Moore, 93 mother of two residents, were held at 2:30 PM Monday in the First United
Methodist Church of Cuthand, Texas. Rev. Arthur Bond, retired Minister officiated. Burial was in the Cuthand Cemetery. Mrs. Moore died Friday at 5:40 PM in Slaton's Mercy Hospital. She had lived in Salton for 16 years, having been a resident of the Slaton Nursing Home for the past 5 years. Mrs. Moore was born Jan.25, 1879. She was married to Jesse Monroe Moore in July 1902 in Red River County. She was a Methodist.
Survivors include:4 sons, Harvey Moore, and Rufus Moore of Slaton, Emmett Moore of Detroit, Texas, and Ennis Moore of Bogota, Texas. Two daughters: Mrs. Ola Mae O'Donnell of Midland Texas, and Mrs. Tom Blisard of Bangs, Texas. She leaves 35 grandchildren, 78 ggrandchildren, and 10 gggrandchildren.
