Elmer was 80 years old when he passed away. He was the son of Aaron Albert Jr. & Cynthia Elizabeth "Bessie" Lewis.
On March 30, 1922 he married Opal May Ohaver. They were blessed with five children: Herman Leo, Mary Louise, Edward Franklin, Betty, & James Richard.
Like his father, Elmer worked as a farmer until his death on February 14, 1979. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and son Herman.
