MRS. MARY POWELL

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary L. Powell, late of 714 W. 7th St., will be held Friday afternoon, Sept. 8th, 1950, at 2:00 o'clock in Holt Memorial Chapel. Rev. Paul Shipman will officiate.
Mrs. Powell passed away Sept. 3, 1950, at 5:30 a.m. in Los Angeles, Calif. She had been there since June of this year.
Born August 9, 1869, in Carrollton, Mo., she was 81 years of age. She had been in poor health the past three years and in serious condition one month prior to her passing. Although she was in California at the time of her death, she had been a resident of Florence about 38 years.
Mr. Powell preceded her in death as did one son, Alva Harrison, three brothers and one sister.
Survivors are the following children: Mrs. Effie Williamson, Los Angeles; Mrs. Pearl Blankenship, Denver; Robert Harrison, Pueblo, George Powell, Pueblo; Mrs. Flo Cutts, Colorado Springs, and Mrs. Isal Voss, Howard, Kansas.
Interment will be in Union Highland Cemetery under direction of Holt Mortuary.
