Died, at Charlevoix, Mich., Feb. 26, 1916, David Crandell Nettleton. He was born Jan. 9, 1840, near Chagrin Falls, Ohio, and resided in Houghtonburg for a number of years. Many of the old settlers (Humbird, Clark County, Wis.) will remember him.

Enlisted at the rank of Sergeant in Company G, Colorado 2nd Infantry Regiment. Mustered out on 1 Oct 1863. Transferred to Company E, Colorado 2nd Cavalry Regiment on 1 Oct 1863. Served to the end of the war.
