Son of Morris Travis and Velma Lyda 'Womack' Boulware. He graduated from Canton High School and Culver Stockton College with a degree in Business Administration. He obtained his Law Degree at the university of Missouri.He served in the U S Navy as a seaman first class aboard the USS Mann in Guam in 1945-1946.
On June 6, 1948 he married Twila Mae Ayers in Canton. They had three children: B Joan, William, and Robert.
He practiced law in the Hannibal and Shelbina (MO) areas for many years. He served as Shelby County Prosecutor and was a instructor in Business Law at Hannibal-LaGrange College.
He was an Eagle Scout and stayed active in Scouting. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Chillicothe, an active member of Gideon International, and Missouri Bar Assn.
He was an avid University of Missouri basketball and St Louis Cardinal baseball fan.
He was blessed with three grandchildren: Christin, Carrie, and Travis, and 2 great grandchildren.
He was a resident of Chillicothe, MO.
