"Charles A Cook, 95, died Nov. 4 at 11 West Main Street, Farmingdale, where he had been living with his daughter, Mrs. Viola C Russell. He was a retired farmer, born in Harmony, the son of the late Britton and Lettice Miller Cook. He was the oldest member of the Farmingdale Methodist Church, and had served for many years on the official board of the church. Surviving besides Mrs. Russell are three other daughters, Miss Ida F Cook, Mrs. Amy C Tilton, Farmingdale; Mrs. William L Rogers, Freehold; a son, Britton C Cook, Farmingdale; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren, and a sister in law, Mrs. Ella Cook, Spring Lake Heights. Funeral services were held Monday 2 PM from the CHT Clayton and Son Funeral Home, the Rev. Fay Smith, pastor of Farmingdale Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was made in Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold".
