Mr. Norman was born in Oil Center Sept. 2, 1916 and passed away in a Bakersfield hospital Sunday. He lived in Kern County until 1948 when he moved to Ventura County. He was employed as an oil worker for 37 years and retired from Getty Oil Company. He returned to Taft five years ago. His survivors include his wife, Maxine Norman; two daughters and their husbands, Bertie Lou and Wayne Wurster and Leona and Jerry Gustafson; a son and his wife, Eugene A. and Linda Norman; a brother and his wife, Denzil and Virginia Norman; 13 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
