F. W. Poole
Cornelia, Nov. 9 -- Freeman W. Poole, 78, died Monday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W. H. Murray here after a long illness. Mr. Poole was born and reared in Banks County. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church and the Homer Masonic Lodge.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church with the Rev. Jack Tatum and the Rev. Frank Moorhead officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
The Homer Masonic Lodge will be in charge of graveside services. The body will remain at the McGahee Funeral Home until 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, and be carried to the church at 2 p.m.
Surviving are three sons, Buford Poole and George Poole of Toccoa, Stephens County, Georgia and Oscar Poole of Alma; three daughters, Mrs. W. H. Murray, Mrs. E. W. Sellers of ??? and Miss Bertie Mae Poole of Toccoa, Stephens County, Georgia; a sister, Mrs. Lizzie Martin of High Point, N.C.
