Elizabeth Rothrock, 95, of Zion Hill, died Wednesday, Oct. 6 in Belle Haven Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Wallace J. Rothrock Sr. She was a packer for E.W. Knauss Dry Beef Co., Quakertown, for more than 15 years before retiring in 1986. Previously, she worked for the former Shellys Restaurant, Quakertown.
Born in Leithsville, Northampton County, she was a daughter of the late Edwin and Wilma (Siegal) Schrantz. She loved to play cards, especially pinochle. Survivors: Sons, Alvin of Sellersville, Albert of Coopersburg, Wallace Jr., Stanley and James, all of Quakertown; daughters, Ruth Kresge and her husband, Truman, of Quakertown, Lorraine Stage of Zepher Hills, Fla., Romaine Ziegler and her husband, Wilmer, and Alverda Fachet and her husband, Walter, all of Sellersville; 23 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; brother, Elmer Schrantz of Leithsville; sister, Loretta Buki of Quakertown. She was predeceased by a son, Ralph R.
Services: noon Monday, October 11, Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral Home, 20 N. Ambler St., Quakertown. Interment, Calvary Cemetery, Coopersburg. Family and friends are invited to call 11 a.m. to noon Monday, October 11 in the funeral home.
