Mrs Annie Ruth Moran, 73, Kingsport, died Tuesday (Aug 15, 1989) at St Joseph's Hospital in Savannah, GA.
A native of Union City, Tenn., Mrs Moran was member and teacher at the First Baptist Church of Kingsport. She was a teacher of the Young Ladies' class at First Baptist Church in Union City, and was a past president of the Women's Missionary Union.
She was a member of Reelfoot Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution, served as regent of Long Island Chapter DAR and as chairman of numerous state committees of the organization.
She was the daughter of the late, Walker L. Martin and Mrs. Myrah Amanda Nash Martin.
Surviving are her husband, James Moran, Kingsport; two daughters, Ms. Kitt Martin Hart, Dekalb Ill., and Mrs Belenda Hart Hawkins, Memphis; a sister Mrs Mary Jane Duncan, Savannah, GA.
Services and burial were conducted August 18 in Union City Tenn.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 pm Sunday at First Baptist Church, Kingsport, with the Rev. Frank Hawkins officiating.
