William Clyde Booze, age 87, a Ft. Worth resident formerly of Atoka County, was born on March 31, 1924, to Thomas and Rhoda (Burnett) Booze, at Maud, Ok. William passed away on August 1, 2011, at Ft. Worth, Tx. He attended Wilson School. William was a machine shop welder. He married Alva Sue (Atteberry) on June 11, 1956 at Durant, Ok. William was a member of the McPherson Road Baptist Church in Ft. Worth, Tx. He really enjoyed woodworking, making grandfather clocks, canes, and pencils, along with many other things. William is survived by his wife, Sue Booze of the home in Ft. Worth, Tx.; children, Ronnie Booze and wife Denean of Garland, Tx., Patsy Zachry and husband Roger of Calera, Ok., Pamela Miles and husband David of Ft. Worth, Tx.; brother, Tom Booze of Ft. Worth, Tx.; sister-in-law, Cleo Booze of Atoka, Ok.; 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear and loved friends. William was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Rhoda (Burnett) Booze; 5 brothers and 2 sisters; grandson, Derreck Glyn Miles. Services will be held Thursday, Aug. 4, 2011, at 10 a.m. at Brown's Funeral Chapel. Bro. Vernon Travis and Bro. Jessie Simon will officiate. Interment will be at Wards Chapel Cemetery.
