Robert E. Lee Burks, 84, died at 7:45 a. m. Thursday at his home, 2824 North Eighteenth Street. Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. Friday at Compton's Chapel, Dr, D. L. McCree officiating, burial in Rosemound Cemetery. Survivors; Five nieces, among whom are Mrs. C. H. Lightfoot of Waco and Mrs. W. D. Wilborn of Dallas. Mr. Burk was born In McNair County, Tennessee, and had lived In Waco since 1932. He was a retired florist and nurseryman. Pallbearers: C. J. Lightfoot, Jimmy Tucker, James Merritt, Glenn Lightfoot, Malcom Harris and C. 0. Hearn.
