THELMA HINKLE
Last rites were held Thursday at First Baptist Church in Advance for Mrs. Thelma Marie Hinkle, 52 years old, who died Tuesday at the family home near Advance. Burial was in Dongola Cemetery.
Mrs. Hinkle, the former Miss Thelma Marie Bagbey, was born June 20, 1909 in Bollinger County. She was married to Homer Hinkle June 20, 1943, who survives. Besides her husband, she is survived by two children, Jack Brown Jr. of Santee California and Dixie Brown of Fort McClellan, Alabama; 3 step-children: Mrs. Hassie Spears of Robetson, Mrs. Ernie Fink of Pontiac, Michigan, and James Hinkle of Florissant; 3 brothers, Omer Bagbey of St. Louis, Vernan and Virgil Bagbey of Advance; a sister, Mrs. Oma Cawthon of Cape Girardeau; two grandchildren and six step-grandchildren.
