She was predeceased in death by her husband, Gadson N. Swann.
Survivors include her niece, Amanda Cason, whom she reared as a daughter; a brother, Thomas Neely; two sisters, Vanessa Ellis and Lucille Victors; one aunt, Mrs. Johnny Neely; grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
